The Loxton Football Club wish to announce that the 21st annual Loxton Pre Season Football Carnival will be held this year at Loxton on the weekend of March 14th and 15th March , 2009.
Last year we had to call of the carnival because of unprecedented heatwave.
In 2007, 14 teams competed in 3 divisions, which saw Gaza win Div 1, Walkerville Div 2 and Salisbury in Div 3. This year we plan to play at least 4 divisions.
We would like to extend an invitation to your Club to nominate a team to play in the Loxton 2009 Football carnival. The deadline for nominations from all clubs will be 28th February 2009. Prize money for each division will be allocated prior to Carnival.
As you can appreciate the carnival is still in the very early planning stages but the format of the carnival will remain virtually the same as it has in past years.
Loxton has a fully serviced camping site adjacent to our 2 ovals and we would encourage all teams to camp there. Accommodation will also be available at the Loxton Hotel Motel, Loxton Backpackers, Loxton Caravan Park and several B & B’s will also provide accommodation.
The carnival will be fully catered with breakfasts, lunches, teas, snacks, BBQ, etc. All you need to bring is your players.
